Allergist/ Immunologist

Duties and Responsibilities: An allergist / immunologist is a physician specially trained to diagnose, treat and manage allergies, asthma, and immunologic disorders. These conditions range from the very common to the very rare, spanning all ages and encompassing various organ systems.

Salary: 187,400

Education: Allergists and immunologists are required to complete at least 13 years of medical training before taking up the profession. This includes 4 years of premedical college or university education, 4 years of medical school, 3 years of residency training, and a further 2 years of fellowship program.

Reflection: I would not like to become an allergist / immunologist because this type of field I don’t like and because it does not catch my attention to study.
