Biology Teacher

Duties and Responsibilities: A biology teachers may teach students about both animal and plant cell, ecology, human biology, and botany.

Salary: 80,000

Education: High school biology teachers typically have a 4-year Bachelor of Science in Biology with an education emphasis or minor. Courses in a biology program with an education emphasis may include math, chemistry, teaching methods and physics. Public high school biology teachers must be licensed by the state in which they teach. Private schools may not require licensure.

Reflection: I would like to be a biology teacher because biology is one of my favorite subjects in school I like to learn about things in biology like cells and viruses and the ecosystem. In the future I would like to become a biology teacher.
