Medical Illustrator
Duties and Responsibilities: A
medical illustrator is a professional artist with specialized training and
advanced education in medicine, science, art, design, visual technology, media
techniques, and in theories related to communication and learning.
Salary: 62,000-100,000
Education: to become a
medical illustrator you usually have to earn a master’s degree from an accredited
graduate program from one of four schools.
Reflection: I actually kind of think this medical
illustrator career is pretty cool in a way. The only thing that bothers me is
that I can’t draw well so that would probably be the only reason for why I wouldn’t
want to purse this career.
