Responsibilities: Medical screening and medical surveillance are two
fundamental strategies for optimizing employee health. Medical
surveillance is for the early identification of conditions, if any, that could
present an increased risk of adverse health effects related to the task being
performed.

Education: Medical
Surveillance Technicians have to obtain an associate’s degree with a high
school diploma or GED and 5 years of related experience.
Reflection: I would
not like to do this as a career because it doesn’t interest me at all and I don’t
see myself doing this.
