September 11,2001 911 memorial

  September 11, 2001 was day like no other it was a day that will live in history forever. On this day a 4 hijacked airliners did horrifying and dreadful and just awful things . On 9/11 it started as a normal day in New York city when at 8;45 a hijacked passenger jet American Airlines flight 11 out of Boston ,Massachusetts was crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center killing 92 on the jet and killing those inside the tower it also left a gap in the tower setting it on fire. Then about 18 minutes later at 9;03 am a second hijacked airliner American Airlines Flight 175 from Boston crashes into the south tower of the World Trade Center killing 62 on the plane and those inside both towers. At this point both towers are burning and at 10:07am the south tower collapsed to the floor creating huge puff of smoke covered all of New York moments later at 10:37 the north tower came down and collapsed and again roared all New York with smoke. At this point both towers had collapsed and kill tons of people and New York was now destroyed of horrible terrorist attacks. 2,977 thousand people died in this horrific attack against the U.S . The people that died in the attack were remembered by their names on what was left of the two towers.13 years later on May 2, 2011 the U.S hunted down Osama Bin Laden and killed him because he was the leader of the 911 attacks. We showed the terrorist that we are not afraid of them and we can fight back so every year at 911 we give tribute and remember those who died in the attacks such as firefighters, police men regular civilians and many more people.
