Final pt2

A. I did like this class it was fun, I liked how we got to learn new things like always choosing the right and learning new quotes from wise people. I also really didn’t like this class because of the little amount of free time we got.

B. Some suggestions that I think that would help to improve the class would be that after we finish our work we could get the chance to have free time while everyone is still working.

C. I think I did always do my best I never got sent to sit in the back of the bench, I never talked back to Mr. Haymore and I always did my work.

D. I actally do read  my life planning goals for 2 minutes daily because I like to remind myself that all the goals I wrote are the one that I want to say Victory next to them.

E.  I am committed to being a CTR person because I do believe in always choosing the right.

F.   I can promise that I will keep my minds mentality to be focused in school never drink or smoke, I will promise that I will be fit always being active just like I’ve always been, and I can promise that my spirit will always be good.

Showcase Adventure

Wow! Where do I begin, my showcase experience was amazing it went absolutely great. Although our presentation was great we did have problems before the actual presentation. We faced a lot of problems before we were back of top. Early in the project we were assigned group members in our English class and we were also given our question which was, “Should students in grades 9^th-12^th be required physical education,” now at first we thought that this was going to be a piece of cake but oh brother it wasn’t. At first we all agreed that it shouldn’t  be required because c’mon  what junior or senior wants to take physical education in their last two years of high school where they should be focusing on getting work done to go to college. So as we started to begin on the PowerPoint and the essay we began to realize that finding evidence and graphs to support this was not easy so we began to stress because days were going by and we still hadn’t accomplished anything, even teachers would come up to us and say why are you going against it when it would be much easier to go for it, which even put more stress on us because now we were so far along the project that it was going to be a risk going for it now and throwing everything we did away. When the project was like a week away we finally just said lets go for it. We quickly just told everyone in our group hey! Look we decided to go for it and we need everyone’s part done by the next time we meet. At the end we did have all our parts done and ready to go we had our PowerPoint and essay done and all we were waiting for was to present. We the day of the presentation came oh man I was nervous I walked into the class with my group we were all dressed and ready except that one of our group members didn’t show up so e had to present her part. When we were done we felt we did great and that the monkey on our back was off our back. We ended up getting a 3 out of 4 which was pretty much a B.

I completely agree with this quote because it’s true when do something bad I feel bad and I feel regret and it stays in my conscious but when I do good I feel good, like when I do good I feel like I’ve rewarded myself by doing good.

For example being dishonest and disobeying my mom is something bad because I’m, showing her that I’m disrespectful which I shouldn’t do but when I do good thing like cleaning my room and doing chores I feel good.

I believe this quote is great because it does a take a lot of courage to do what’s right and that should motivate us to say you know what I’m going to brave and stand up to being the good person who always chooses the right.

Patrick was a little boy who chose the wrong and decided to disobey is parents about putting on his shoes and taking a walk in the dessert, instead he decided that scandals were much like shoes and wore his scandals. On his walk there was a scorpion lurking and stung his leg causing excruciating pain to his leg. As cries roar out of him, his parents rushed towards him and jumped into the car to drive two hours to the local hospital were the doctor cured him of the pain in 24 hours. Now Patrick knows and understands that when he is told about anything he should just follow that or incidents like this one can happen as a result of his disobedience.

This  is a wonderful quote because the key to being healthy and physically healthy is being physically fit. This is good because you know how to eat healthy you always choose the right and drive yourself away from harmful things such as drugs and alcohol and eating wrong.

Dermatologist

Duties and Responsibilities: Dermatologist are doctors that specialize in skin, hair and nails.

Salary: $100,000 to $500,000

Education: To become a dermatologist you need to have earned a bachelor’s degree from a medical school either specializing in becoming a medical doctor or a doctor of osteopathic medicine. You will also need a 1 year internship.

Reflection: In my honest opinion I don’t find being a dermatologist interesting in my point of view and don’t for see it as it becoming a career in my life. 

Veterans Day

Veterans Day is a national holiday celebrated by Americans to honor those who served in the Armed forces and to those who are still serving. We honor this day because of the first allies Germany in 1918 on the 11^{th day 11th hour and 11th day of World War 1. Did you know that Veterans day wasn’t always called Veterans day it was called Armistice Day.Verteran's Day is a wonderful holiday because we get to thank and honor the people who put their lives towards protecting the United States of America and with this I say Thank you.}

Thanksgiving and its History

Thanksgiving is a holiday is a celebrated across the U.S., but did you know that when it was first celebrated in 1621 that the Plymouth colonist didn’t celebrate it year after year like how it is now. Let me give you a little summary of how Thanksgiving became a national holiday. In 1621 the Plymouth colonist who settled here from England were looking to sail to freedom to practice their own faith began to settle to the “New World”. The colonist first celebrated Thanksgiving to reward themselves of a successful harvest they grew and with that they invited the local Wampanoag Indians to celebrate their achievements with a three day long feast that included eating, hunting, and entertainment.

Kindness is Key

There are many ways to show acts of kindness because kindness comes in many different ways. I think the boy from Contras high school had to have shown the biggest act of kindness because there was a boy with a mental disorder who loved basketball and always dreamed of playing with his teammates but never could because of his disorder. But what he didn’t know was that his coach was going to put him in the game. Although the thunder birds were winning by 15 all the shots that were passed to Mitchell he would miss but it would be at that point that his love of basketball would become much more when the boy from Contras  passed the ball to Mitchell even though they were on opposite teams, Mitchell would get the ball and score ending the game with a victory and having everyone from the stands rush down to him with joy. And because ball is life he can still love basketball.

Dental Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities: Dental assistants do various things like set appointments, patient care and other duties such as laboratory. They also deal with treatment records, bills and file patient’s paperwork.

Salary: $27,248

Education: Dental assistants learn skills on the job with training from junior colleges, community colleges, trade schools, technical and institutes. When they complete their training they are eligible for the Dental Assistant Exam offered by the DANB.

Reflection: I don’t think I would like to become a dental assistant because it isn’t a medical career that interests me nor would I want to become one.

Dental Lab Technician

Duties and Responsibilities: Dental laboratory technology is an art and science. Dental technicians create devices and replacements for people with natural teeth.

Salary: $39,760

Education: Dental technicians receive their education from a two to four year training program from a community college or a vocational school, technical college, universities or dental schools. After completing this they may receive an associate’s degree or a certificate.

Reflection: I think that becoming a dental technician would be an experience to see how dentures and other manufactures. 

Dentist

Duties and Responsibilities: Dentist treat patients with gum, teeth and other related mouth problems. They give advice on how to take care of your how with simple instructions like brushing your teeth and flossing.

Salary: $145,240

Education: To become a dentist you need to finish 4 years of dental school and have needed to pass all licensing exams. They are required to have a bachelor’s degree because most applicants prefer students who have passed all dental programs and have received a bachelor’s degree.

Reflection: I believe being a dentist is somewhat kind of but in my perspective I think being a dentist is an exciting career because you get paid well and you get to clean mouths and yank out teeth.
