I agree with this quote because that should always be the thing you choose in a decision is the right thing. You should never think twice about choosing the right that should be your one and only choice.

Doctor Bob

The video we saw of a doctor who works in the worst streets of Albany, New York is someone who you would call a saint. He goes by Doctor Bob and he is known for being the greatest doctor for the actions he does out of generosity of his heart. With the patients he gets everyday he does all he can do for them even if they are financially unstable he never lets any of his patients leave his clinic without getting all the help they need. He’s not a greedy or selfish man.

“Make each day your masterpiece, you have to allow yourself each day to become a little better, and over a period of time you become a lot better.”
John Wooden

I completely agree with this quote because it really says a lot of inspiring true things. If we set our minds to living our life to the fullest and always choosing the right we then begin to get better and better every day and we live. We have to stay motivated and get through each obstacle that come in our way of succeeding if we push harder every bit we will then succeed.

The video

In the video we watched about Sara, Mallory, Liz it really showed a lot of empowering, thoughtful ways of what having character is all about. Sara a senior that goes to Western Oregon played in her last soft ball career game against Central Washington. It was a champion ship game; Sara who had never hit a home run in her life was up to bat that would be a game changer in her life. Sara hit a home run with two girl’s bases, as she sprinted to first base something happened to her that would end her career, she had torn her ACL in her right knee. With the torn ACL it was almost impossible for her to continue her run around the bases, not even her on team would be able to touch her and help her finish. That’s when two players from Central Washington, Liz and Mallory decided that they would be the ones to help Sara complete her run for the home run she hit. Out of acts of their hearts they carried her all the way to home plate and giving her the home run she deserved. Central Washington ended up losing 4-2 but they left that field with doing the right thing and nothing could’ve been better than that.

“It’s a great moment when someone has character to step up and do the right thing at the right time.”

Pam Knox
This quote by Pam Knox is a great quote because it’s amazing to see people always choose the right and never choose the wrong, it’s especially great to see people with great character to step up and do the right things at the right moment at no cost. It’s sort of like when someone is getting bullied and you seeing them getting bullied you step up as a good person and do the right thing by reporting it.

“A promise should never be broken”
Alexander Hamilton

This quote from Alexander Hamilton really says the truth when he says “A promise should never be broken.” Promises are what dignifies the true meaning of what trust is all about, when we make promises we have to live by them and ensure that they aren’t broken because then all goes bad. It’s sort of like when you promise your friend that you’re going to do your part in the project but you don’t do it, you broke your promise and you lost their trust so don’t break promises.

“What you see is what you get”
Anonymous

I agree with quote because when see ourselves in the mirror we see someone that we don’t want to be which is completely wrong, what we really see is ourselves and the unique person. When I see myself in the mirror I see the goals and accomplishing things that I will achieve, I would want to be a natural scientist or a pro athlete so I set my mind to those things instead of being someone I’m not.

“Goodness is the only investment that never fails.”
Henry David Thoreau

I think what this quote means is that in life the greatest investment you can ever make that will never fail you is having goodness, the quality of having goodness in your life is tremendous because goodness keeps you going in life and will never fail you.

Heaviest aircraft pulled by a man

This record by Kevin Fast is my favorite world record done in Canada. This particular record fascinates me because he pulled on his own with no help a CC-177 Globemaster III, weighing 188.83 tonnes which is incredible    ! I actually would like to break and set my own world record, I think I would want to set a world record for maybe throwing as many footballs through a tire in 10 minutes.

“My basic principle is that you don’t make decisions because they are easy; you don’t make them because they are cheap; you don’t make them because they are popular; you make them because they are right”
Theodore Hesburgh

I agree with this quote because we know what we are doing when we make decisions and it not that we make them because they are easy or cheap it because we know that it’s the best for us and we know it’s right when we do it. We should always choose the right when we make decisions good or bad because the decisions we make will affect us later on whether it is in a bad way or good way.

“It is our duty to concentrate all our influence to make popular that which is sound and good, and unpopular that which is unsound(not good).”
Joseph Smith

I agree with this quote because it tells us that we should always do things that influence good things and not things that influence bad things. By them influencing things that are popular good helps them build character which can lead them to success. Do all the good you can possibly do to make all that is bad unpopular.
