I agree with this statement because it does make a difference if we do something right or wrong. You see when you do something right it makes a difference in a good way but if you do something bad it makes a difference in an bad way.

“The best way to predict your future is to create it.”
Charles Ketterer

This statement says it all, we have to set our minds to seeing and creating our future in positive ways. We have to ensure that what we want our future to be no matter what it may be that we begin to create it now. If we were to set a goal and accomplish it imagine the future you could have knowing what you did was good.
“Bless You”
Have you ever sneezed and heard someone say, “Bless you”, and do you ever question why they say that.

We say bless you because it is said that it began in Rome long ago during the Bubonic Plague, which Pope Gregory the Great said in hopes that god would protect them from death. It originated by AD 750 when it was custom to saying “bless you’’ when someone sneezed. It originated with Pope Gregory the Great saying it the ones who felt the beginning symptoms of the illness. It originated in Rome and all across Europe and spread to the United States when European immigrants came.

Rachel Castillo
Rachel’s act for the better good was extremely good for her to find $36,000 in a bag with no one next to it. She knew that the only right thing to do was return the money to it rifle owner. By her acting accordingly and doing the right thing, she will be repaid tremendously by a high power of god as she said, she also said that she was a Christian and knew that in the bible it said to never steal and cheat and that’s what she lives by.

Student Success Statement
“Associate yourself with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation; for ‘tis better to be alone than in bad company.”
George Washington

This quote by Washington is great because it is better to be with the ones who will be of good quality than to be with those that will do nothing for you. In other words be with the ones who will support you, be there for you, and help you when you need them. When you surround yourself with the good people in your life you feel good because you are not insecure nor is your self-esteem down.

“Right is right only when entire”
Victor Hugo

This is a great quote by Victor because only telling half the truth is still a lie, the only way that truth will be true is if it’s the whole truth.

“In life as in football, you won’t go far, unless you know where goalposts are.”
Arnold H. Glasgow
I agree with this quote because if you don’t know where your goals really are where are you supposed to do to reach them if there is nothing to guide you to your goals.

History of Basketball
James Naismith a Canadian inventor created the sport of basketball in 1891; he also created the first rule book for the sport. James first created this sport while working at YMCA in Springfield, Massachusetts. HE got a peach basket and a soccer ball and wham! He created basketball. His creation for the game of basketball was not an accident. While he was working at YMCA the director asked him to create an indoor game that would give an “athletic distraction” so he grabbed a soccer ball and a peach basket and began playing basketball. The circumstances at the beginning of the game were they played nine versus nine and handled a soccer ball and not a basketball which were shot into peach baskets. In the beginning of basketball there were only 13 rules. Basketball today is completely different from how it was played before because there are more rules and instead of nine versus nine, today it is five versus five etc.
